Akasha Management was formed by Manisha Dhanak in 2015 with a vision to make information security, cyber security and compliance achievable for all companies, regardless of their size, industry sector and company culture.

Manisha Dhanak has a technical and practical understanding of security tools, technologies and information security best practices. Her strong stakeholder management skills help companies bridge the gap between Information Technology and the Business, whilst managing and driving change.

With over 15 years’ experience in Information Security, Compliance, Risk Management, Governance, and Programme Management across diverse industries, she possesses excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills with an ability to develop and maintain mutually beneficial internal and external relationships.

SOME PREVIOUS ASSIGNMENTS

• Supported development of Cyber Resilience Strategy; evaluation and scoping work streams across sixteen cyber capabilities in readiness for delivery. Capabilities covered SIEM, SOC, DLP, EDR, DDoS, CASB, Firewall Assurance, SOAR, IRP, Configuration Change Management, PAM, Vulnerability Assessment, Enterprise Patch Management, Threat Intelligence Platform and Certificate Authority.
• Defined, authored and cascaded a framework of information security and personal data policies and procedures. Developed communication plan to cascade policies and procedures.
• Undertook gap analysis of People, Processes and Technology to align with Cyber Essentials, NIST and GDPR.
  Authored and delivered CBT based Cyber Security & Data Privacy Training campaign.
• Managed delivery of PCI Programme (IVR solution, P2PE chip & PIN devices and tactical changes), £2.5m, delivered on time and within budget.
